Job Title: Community Health Volunteer
- My primary duties are to help develop community health programs that empower health workers to be able to implement health activities aimed at HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support; improved maternal and child health; the promotion of clean water, and improved hygiene and sanitation; family planning; availability and improved nutrition; malaria prevention and control; and capacity building of health service providers. Most importantly, volunteers help their host organizations develop in such a way that these programs can be improved, sustained, and replicated for years to come.
